Early Orthodontics Adelaide and Jamestown
At Smilemore Orthodontics have your child’s smile assessed around the age of 7 years to identify any key issues in their dental and facial development.
According to the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the recommended age for orthodontic assessment is seven years old. For the majority of cases this is too early for full braces but some problems can be addressed or alleviated with other early interventions.
Why should I take my child to the orthodontist?
An early assessment allows the orthodontist to advise on the need for any early intervention and also provides the parent and the child with an awareness for any later treatment needs which may be required.
